Job Title – Senior Accountant
This role will be responsible for all aspects of financial and statutory compliance management. The primary focus would be to analyse day-to-day financial activities, regulatory compliance, provide insights to top management on future financial plans and compliance changes. The role also involves managing statutory compliances, planning and execution of statutory audits and liaising with external advisors etc.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure organization’s statutory requirements, obligations and objectives are
- adhered to and achieved within its delivery timelines
- Prepare financial reporting process and supporting schedules according to month
- close schedule
- End-to-end management of applicable statutory compliances like TDS, GST, VAT,
- balance sheet along with statement of Profit and Loss Account etc
- Reconciliation on all balance sheets accounts for all entities
- Prepare and complete various forecasts includes cash flow, intercompany billing etc
- Handle, assist and support during statutory/management audits
- Develop and document business processes to maintain and strengthen internal
- controls
- Other ad hoc duties and analysis which may be required from time to time
- Any other task assigned by Management
Desired Requirements:
- B Com / M Com / MBA / Inter CA / qualified Chartered Accountant
- 15-18 years of overall experience in a similar position and/with experience in
statutory compliances, financial analysis, business operations, taxation, auditing,
accounting, corporate finance etc. - Sound knowledge of the relevant regulatory framework and regulations applicable
- Ability to prioritize work and perform under tight timelines
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Good communication, interpersonal, presentation and negotiation skills
- Self-motivated and a team player
